5G to launch on golden jubilee of Bangladesh
The Government to launch 5G services at the customer level on the verge of celebrating the golden jubilee of Bangladesh. at the same time, BTRC has planned to set up offices at divisional levels to ensure monitoring of the services.
BTRC Chairman Shyam Sundar Shikdar informed the audience on Sunday evening while he answered a live session on Facebook on 'Secured Internet for Children'.
He opines to allow children to use computers and the internet for a certain period of time. there is no age bar for using a computer, he added. At the same time, he puts emphasis on using parental control to keep children secured in the cyber world. If a child becomes a victim of cyberbullying, he suggests informing the matter to family, teachers, and law enforcing agencies than cross-questioning them.
Considering the widespread influence of social media, the BTRC head Expresses that, "this is not at all possible for any country to control the use of internet in a full proof manner, rather an awareness is the only solution".
